Madrid hosts today the opening of the largest edition to date of the Spanish International Defense and Security Fair (FEINDEF), a strategic event bringing together 601 exhibitors and 93 international delegations in Halls 4, 6, 8, and 10 of Ifema.
In a strategic year for Navantia, with the launch of the first F-110 frigate and the start of the third in the series just a week ago, of the five that will be delivered to the Spanish Navy, as well as the launch of the second S-80 submarine, Navantia arrives at FEINDEF focusing on its cutting-edge technology applied to the products and services demanded by the Navies of the future.

Following the Spanish Army's plans to renew its self-propelled artillery, what are the GDELS-SBS wheeled and tracked artillery proposals?
FEINDEF is a success in terms of the presence of companies and visitors. What can we expect to see at this year's edition compared to previous editions?
FEINDEF 25 will be the largest edition to date, with more than 600 exhibitors, the participation of 93 international delegations, and a nearly 60% increase in exhibition space. This year's edition features two new pavilions, one of which will be used for static displays. This will offer a total of 5,900 m² of static exhibition space, an increase of 4,020 m² compared to the previous edition.

Defense is experiencing a very positive moment in terms of investment; we were coming from very different cycles compared to the one we are currently experiencing. Current conflicts such as the war in Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East, as well as the various geopolitical tensions have reminded us that defense is a deterrent and that investment in defense is absolutely necessary to maintain our way of life in Europe.
