Palantir Technologies was founded in 2003 with the mission to improve the accessibility and use of data that supported decision-making processes on the most important national security challenges, while ensuring the preservation of privacy principles and civil rights. At the same time, we encountered how government institutions struggled with siloed information systems, bottomless data stores, and outdated technology infrastructures. We founded Palantir to address these limitations and transform how organizations use their data.

Our initial projects focused on the defense communities of the United States and Europe, and since then, we have expanded our reach to projects with civil governments and private sector organizations, supporting critical use cases in international corporations. This includes telecommunications, medical, global manufacturers, energy, or pharmaceutical companies.

PRODUCTS & SERVICES

Over the last fifteen years, the use of our platforms has gradually improved thanks to customer feedback, technological advances, and experience gained through deep relationships with our customers in commercial and government organizations around the world. Today we serve more than fifty industries and offer three main software platforms: Palantir Gotham, Palantir Foundry, and Palantir Apollo.

For over a decade, Palantir Gotham has become the reference platform for global defense agencies, as well as the intelligence and operations community of NATO allied countries. Palantir Foundry is transforming the way organizations operate by becoming the central operating system for their data, both for individual institutions and entire industries. Meanwhile, Palantir Apollo coordinates the ongoing delivery of new features, security updates, and platform configurations to help ensure continued operation of critical systems and enable our customers to run their software in virtually any environment.

The continuous improvement of our platforms has made it possible to consolidate cutting-edge defense applications such as Edge AI, our solution for orchestrating workflows at the edge of the operations network. This solution maximizes the value of the data needed to effectively coordinate satellite constellation (ISR) command and control (C2) missions and support decision-making by aggregating data from millions of sensors in real time.
