UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía is a private company with 100% Spanish capital. It has specialized in the design of guidance, navigation and control solutions (GNC) for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) since 2004.

Our flight control solutions are used by a variety of Tier 1 aerospace manufacturers in a wide range of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) - also known as Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) or 'drones'.

From UAV Navigation's-Grupo Oesía we offer flight control solutions are characterize by their reliability and robustness, being used on all kinds of platforms and under all weather conditions. These include high-performance tactical unmanned aircraft, VTOL fixed wing platforms, aerial targets, mini-UAVs and helicopters.

The cornerstone of our company's success is a comprehensive, in-house capability to develop Attitude & Heading Reference Systems (AHRS), flight control algorithms, and fuse the data provided by multiple sensors (GNSS, airspeed ADS, magnetometers, gyroscopes, accelerometers /etc.).

PRODUCTS & SERVICES

  • Flight Control Computers (FCC) / Autopilots: VECTOR-400 & VECTOR-600

VECTOR range of autopilots are a robust and dependable units, with built-in physical and logical redundancy; this allows them to survive all individual sensor failures while maintaining accurate estimates of attitude and position. Their robust and reliable enclosure is designed to withstand the toughest environmental conditions; they have passed MIL-STD 810F (vibration, acceleration, humidity, rain, temperature tests etc.), and also MIL-STD 461 (EMI/EMC tests) qualifications. These MIL-STD qualifications ensure compliance with the high standards required by many Departments of Defense (DoD). UAV Navigation’s provides outstanding performance in GNSS-denied environments (drift <30 m/min) and in a wide variety of dynamic environments.

  • AHRS: POLAR-300 & POLAR-500

POLAR family of AHRS are a high-end, MEMS-based Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) and Inertial Navigation System (INS). They are perfect for system integration in avionics packages or other attitude sensing applications.

Redundancy built into the AHRS's software allows them to survive individual sensor failures while maintaining accurate estimates of attitude and position. Their high-performance MEMS-based IMU is calibrated and compensated over the full industrial temperature range.

  • GCS Software: Visionair

Visionair is UAV Navigation's-Grupo Oesía all in one Ground Control Station (GCS) software for configuration, planning, executing and post-analysis UAV missions.

The Ground Control Station software allows the user to create and edit flight missions even if the aircraft is on-flight. Due to its multi-flight plan management capability, the operator would be able to create, delete or configure jumps between waypoints or flight plans. The mission software has been designed for an intuitive control based on point-and-click, allowing the configuration of complex or advanced operations in an easy way. With this functionality, the operator can configure complete missions such as parcel delivery or photogrammetry. Its user-friendly interface accelerates the learning curve, enabling the operator to get the most out of this autopilot software. Visionair allows the execution of missions with a navigation referenced respect to mobile point of interest so it may be used in surveillance, search & rescue missions or monitoring applications.
