SATLANTIS
SATLANTIS is a medium-sized Spanish Space technology company for Earth observation and Universe exploration.
Thanks to its advanced technologies, its multispectral and infrared cameras, and through nine space missions (between completed, contracted and planned) it has positioned itself as a global leader in the provision of optical technologies for Earth observation satellites.
SATLANTIS aims to democratise access to satellite systems and imagery by developing state-of-the-art solutions at a fraction of the current mass, size and cost.
SATLANTIS Earth observation solutions provide systems with resolutions between 2 and 0.45 m, with availability within months, and with the innovative features of agility, simultaneous VNIR and SWIR spectral capture, high and very high resolution imagery and video.
Satellites carrying SATLANTIS technology have potential applications in various sectors such as defence and security, energy, vegetation and agriculture, environmental monitoring, infrastructure monitoring and detailed terrestrial mapping.
SATLANTIS has strategic partners, has launched its first IOD missions to the ISS with JAXA and NASA and its first complete satellite solution on May 25th, 2022.
PRODUCTS & SERVICES
SATLANTIS developed its own optical payloads portfolio, that made it leader in the worldwide market: iSIM family with two flight proven models, iSIM-170 (targeted to MicroSats, with submeter resolution) and iSIM-90 (targeted to CubeSats, reaching 1,65 meter resolution) and another one in the pipeline (iSIM-300 for MiniSats with less than 50 cm resolution). iSIM cameras cover from Visible & Near InfraRed (VNIR) to SWIR spectral range, offering both panchromatic and multispectral capabilities according to the users’ needs, resulting in satellite images and videos.
SATLANTIS provides complete observation systems composed of payload plus sensor-bus for the customers: Full-Solutions for Small Satellites. The innovative applications served by these complete solutions for SmallSats include Oil&Gas, defence and security, detection and quantification of methane emissions, detection of plastics and floating debris in coasts and oceans, forestry, monitorisation of infrastructures and of marine ecosystems, precision agriculture.
KEY FEATURES
- IMAGE QUALITY: iSIM delivers homogeneous quality images
- MULTISPECTRAL: all spectral bands contain the same information
- CUSTOMER CONFIGURATION: iSIM family of payloads can adapt to specific needs
- LIGHTWEIGHT: iSIM family of payloads offers an unprecedented mass-to-resolution ratio
- AGILITY: unique capability in the market consisting in allowing capturing high quality images continuously while the satellite observes along and across its orbit, following non-linear structures on Earth
- ULTRA-HIGH RESOLUTION: a proprietary technique used to retrieve a high spatial resolution image from a series of low spatial resolution images, without loss of information.
Current Full-Solutions options:
- iSIM-SAT 12-16U for CUBESATS
- iSIM-SAT Micro for MICROSATS
- iSIM-SAT Mini for MINISATS
