OCCAR is an independent international organisation whose core-business is the management of complex, cooperative defence equipment programmes. OCCAR currently counts six Member States, eight Participating States and two Observer States and manages 18 programmes for a total and constantly growing value of more than 100 billion €. The organisation was created through the ratification of the OCCAR Convention in 2001. Our goal is to deliver military capabilities to Nations according to agreed objectives of time, cost and performance. OCCAR works in a customer-centric way following ISO-certified processes on a Through Life Management basis with an average overhead of 1.5%.
