The implementation of the Land Army Logistics Base (BLET) in the city of Córdoba, result of collaboration between Ministry of Defense, Junta de Andalucía and Córdoba City Council, will reinforce the project to consolidate Córdoba as one of the great logistics centers of southern Spain, increasing the industrial sector respect to the national average thanks to the companies that will be installed to provide services to the Logistics Base and the reinforcement of local industries linked to the transport, logistics and production sector, especially the 4.0 industries and technology-based companies trained to work at the Army Logistics Base.

This is a project the Army has been working on for more than 10 years, in order to rationalize the logistical support structures, improving efficiency and reducing costs in infrastructure maintenance. A logistics center with the highest technological standards, that will connect maintenance activities for Army material in one facility.
