At this time of the Spanish defense industry, with important plans, industrial, and regional strategies underway, the agreement reached during FEINDEF between the Asturias Hub Defense, the Asturian technology business association for the development of the defense industry, and AESMIDE, the Association of Contracting Companies with Public Administrations, takes on greater importance.
With this agreement, the two associations establish a strategic alliance that aims to promote the development, innovation, and competitiveness of the defense sector, both regionally and nationally, a clear step forward toward consolidating the business and industrial fabric with which to meet current and future needs.
For Sergio Menéndez García, president of the Asturias Hub Defense, "this alliance is a great opportunity that will propel us to collaborate with our Armed Forces and the entire defense sector." Gerardo Sánchez Revenga, president of AESMIDE, emphasized that "Asturias can contribute significant capabilities, and this collaboration is an opportunity for small businesses to contribute innovation and technology. Investing in R&D means increased productivity, certainty for companies and the Armed Forces, and, above all, the discovery of talent."
